You will soon see American NFL player Hines Ward in SBS “On Air” drama. He took part in the filming today and his scene will be aired in the final episode.
He was in Korea recently to continue work on his Hines Ward Helping Hands Foundation to aid bi-racial people and decided to appear in the drama as he was good friends with someone from the production team. In his scene which will be aired in the last episode, his character is one that is close friends with Aden (Ricky Lee Neely) and he meets him again to reminisce about the past.
Hines Ward had attended the inauguration of Korean president, Lee Myung Bak earlier this year. To promote better Korean-American relations, Hines Ward hopes to show his friendly side by appearing in the popular tv drama.
“On Air” has proved to be a star magnet as the number of stars appearing on it has been nothing short of amazing. Lee Hyo Ri, Kim Jae Dong, Jeon Do Yeon, Kim Jung Eun, Lee Seo Jin, etc have all made cameo appearances. With NFL star Hines Ward in it, “On Air” has made it an incredible feat for a drama.
The final episode of “On Air” starring Hines Ward will be shown on 15th May.

this sounds cool. i’ve seen him on 60 Minutes and some arirang tv thing talking about his foundation and growing up half Korean.
