  9. ok i assume u got the logo based on comment #14. for the logos to display, you must place it exactly in this folder C:\My Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2008\graphics\logos\

  10. Thanks Again Man By The Way Do You Know where i can get English Lower Legaue Logo like MadienHead United Logo

  11. Do you know tatic or lower league club whee i can win every game and training where i can turn my player into superstar player

  12. Can you tell wot the differences are between each of your superpacks, i have viewed them and all 3 look the same, with part 3 having some missing

  13. SS’08 Kits Superpack by FMGLive, just kits

My Own Logos Superpack, includes logos for clubs, countries all over the world.

Shiny Logos Europa Superpack, logos for clubs and countries in Europe only.

  14. I am aware that, i was talking more specifically about your own superpacks part 1 and 2 seem to b exactly the same, i was just wondering what differences there are between the superpacks that you have put together

  15. Do you know tatic or lower league club where i can win every game ? And training where i can turn my player into superstar player and how do you asign the player the training shedule

  16. I Import the shedule but when you asign the player the training shedule you cant choose the imported one i play in the lower league it works for the youth but not for the senior in the lower legue it works on higher league for both senior and youth can you show me how to asign the senior player in lower legue

  17. TGRCOEV07 – so do you mean that the training doesn’t work for lower leagues? if so, i am not sure since i do not play in lower leagues. you might like to check out sortioutsi.net forums for solutions.

christian – extract facepacks to MY Documents/Sports Interactive/Football Manager 2008/graphics/players

  18. YO hi
coolsmurf I’ve downloaded some backgrounds and I’ve followed the
read me instructions but it didn’t work
    what do I do now???

where must I put the photos and what must I do to appear in my FM 08??

    Best Regards

    L.H.

  19. lordhyuuga – for backgrounds, extract to MY Documents/Sports Interactive/Football Manager 2008/graphics/backgrounds. Make sure you have the “show backgrounds” checked in preferences. for photos which i assume is player pictures, extract to MY Documents/Sports Interactive/Football Manager 2008/graphics/players.

  20. hey ive got all the packs and stuff but i just cant find the graphic folder to put them in the only folders that come up are

    db
    filters
    games
    matches
    skins
    sounds
    tactics
    temporary

    can you help!?!?!?!

  21. dodo – create a new folder and name it graphics. you have to do it manually. then dump everything u download inside it.

  22. lordhyuuga – i have no idea about the 2 things you mentioned, you might like to post on forums to get an answer.

  23. downloaded every possible file + extracted to file as u said, used the screen shot of knowing which boxes to check + and uncheck in preferences , however files still are not in the game . . . help please!!!

  24. perk – ok i think u might have placed in the wrong directory. check the directory u have extracted to. u might want to list it out here so that i can see if it’s correct.

  25. C:\Program Files\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2008\graphics

    C:\Program Files\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2008\graphics\players

    C:\Program Files\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2008\graphics\logos

    C:\Program Files\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2008\graphics\kits

i created the graphics folder, along with the players kits and logos folders . . . not working . . . followed the screen shot also, re the cache chech and uncheck boxes

  26. perk, now i see the problem.

    now instead of
    C:\Program Files\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2008\graphics

    move all that into this
    C:\My Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2008\graphics

    that should work!

  27. Had to create a my documents folder as there wasnt one, moved sport interactive into it. still no joy!!! any other ideas?

  28. perk, try this and see if it works. you do not have to create a my documents folder, it’s there by windows default. u just have to move in the sports interactive folder.

    C:\Documents and Settings\your user name\My Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2008\graphics

  29. Spot on!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! worked like a charm, thank you very very much, much appreciated!!!

  30. I have downloaded the kits skin. And i have created the graphics/kits folder and extracted everything into it. Yet it is still not showing up in the game. Any help????

  31. Thanks,

It My Docs/Sports Interactive/Football Manager 08/graphics/kits and then i dumped all of the superkits patch into this folder. I am now a little bit stumped!

  32. Ryan, ensure its in the structure as follows

    C:\Documents and Settings\your user name\My Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2008\graphics

  33. Thanks it is in that structure. When you go into the kits folder there is another kits folder with all the clubs and nations in it. Is that the problem or do i have to do anything with the editor or in game???

  34. You can leave it as it is. since ur structure is correct. i think it’s in-game.

load FM and goto preferences. Inside of preferences untick the “Use Skin Cache” option. Then tick “Always reload skin on confirm” option.

  35. I’ve installed this pack and the nation flags are replaced by league logos.

I mean a Scottish player has a Scottish league logo instead of flag in his profile.

  36. Nihat Mala, there might have been a clash. I can’t really say anything unless u can show me your directory structure.

the only thing u can do now is to remove the pack and see if it comes back.

  37. I’ve downloaded loads of facepacks and put them all in the correct place in My Documents/Sports Interactive… e.t.c. Once done, should it work immediastely when I load up the game again or do I need to click something on preferences? Thanks

  38. gabba, you extract it to C:\Documents and Settings\your user name\My Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2008\graphics

JJShaw, yes it should work immediately if you have not started the game. If you have started the game, just change the skin and it will load it.

Remember that, in preferences, you have to untick the “Use Skin Cache” option. Then tick “Always reload skin on confirm” option.

  39. ive read everything on the comments but still have 1 problem! iv changed the preferences to ‘Use Skin Cache’ and ‘Always reload skin on confirm’ and extrected the fiels to C:/Users/Ross/Documents/Sports Interactive/Football Manager 2008/ (without ‘Documents and Settings’ becuase im on Vista) and still seem to have a problem? any help!

  40. C:/Users/Ross/Documents/Sports Interactive/Football Manager 2008/graphics btw 4gt 2 add dat still have problem

  41. Hi Coolsmurf, the kits are absolutely superb, but I have one question: is it possible to remove the grey kit that can be seen in the background? It looks like the default kit that is used as standard, but spoils the appearance of your kits.

  42. @mike, download this, unrar and put the effect file and config file in C:\Program Files\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2008\editor data\kits (that’s the default path, If you have installed the game in other folder, search for the editor data\kits folder there)

  43. Hi CoolSmurf,

i want to put a background picture of Grace Kelly on my football manager 2008 so its the default picture on every page.

how do i do this please?

  44. @MadDog, not really sure on this, but you might like to take a look at the skins folder and then replace the default bg image with grace kelly, remember to backup so that u can revert back if it doesn’t work.

  45. Hi Coolsmurf,

I have the same problem as some of the people above. I can’t get the logos & kits to work.

I downloaded the files and dragged them into the Graphics folder i created, then i put the logos in the logos folder, and the kits in the kits folder.

    C:\Documents and Settings\Jif1\My Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2008\Graphics\Logos

Is the above correct? also I’m using a downloaded skin patch, could this be why it’s not working? do I need to use the original fm skin….?

I have unticked the skin cache box in preferences, and I have ticked the always load skin box….

    Please help?

    Cheers

  46. @Graham, try this and see if it works. you do not have to create a my documents folder, it’s there by windows default. u just have to move in the sports interactive folder.

the skins doesn’t make a difference.

  47. Hi coolsmurf,

I haven’t created a my documents folder I used the one that was already there, the only folder I have created is Graphics and then the logos and kits folders….?

  48. @Graham, ok that’s weird. try this instead.

    C:\My Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2008\graphics

  49. Yep still doesn’t work 😦 Really stumped here as to why it’s not working, I don’t think i’m doing anything wrong.

Anything else you can think of?

  50. @Graham, i hve no idea then, if u ask someone else, they will tell u the same steps probably.

either u could uninstall the game and try the same thing again with installation or just play without it or complain to SI!!

  51. Hello coolsmurf.. are we need to updates the patch to aplly this graphic or just stick to 8.0 version??

  52. Hello guys, I managed to put downloaded kits in Premier league by creating a folder graphics in my documents/…../football manager/ but I tried to put logos too but I failed. Can someone help me? Is there other way to put logos in?

  53. @faizol, the gfx works regardless of version.

@dzeki93, my tactics doesn’t work 100% and i have yet to find a unbeatable tactic.

    @Rigor, ensure your directory structure is C:\Program Files\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2008\graphics\logos

  54. Is the Turkish league and national team etc. included in the logo and kit package? Also where can i get a Turk,Spanish,Ital, English and German leauge (all teams) face pack?

    Cheers

  55. hello ppl i want the english premier league teams logoscan you help me???

  62. How you doing?..
so.. i did exactly how you said, coolsmurf, but it doesn’t work. So, I used winrar to extract that damn facepack. so i copied it in C:\Documents and Settings\Calvin\My Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2008\graphics and i did the same for logos and it doesn’t work.. i mean.. after copying those folders it was looking like C:\Documents and Settings\Calvin\My Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2008\graphics\facepacks..
    P.S.: I’m talking about football manager 2008.
    thanx in advance!
    peace!

  63. Hei Coolsmurf thnx for logos….but do u know how can i change kits in premier league…..

  64. Hei Coolsmurf thnx for logos….but do u know how can i change kits in premier league…..or to upgrade fm 2008 in how clubs are now with players….

  65. if it wont work, download fm2008 resource archiver. run program, extract archive : c:\program files\football manager 2008/graphics(or whatever it is on your PC) to your desktop. open folder, then open pictures folder. explore and enjoy. put files in correct locations, include config files or it wont work, edit config if you have to.

remember to do background and small logos as well as normal or it will look like shite. .if you edit pre-loaded logo .png files(logos, kits, flags) in paintbrush then there will be a white background, a better graphics package should be good. you do want a transparent background. save files exactly same name as origionals, so if you have changed a team say : crawley town, and called them say your-mum fc, your logo needs to replace the logo called “crawley town.png” same with kits : “crawley home.png” with the SAME file name.

when done open resource archiver again, click create archive, select the file from your desktop, then click select, it auto takes you to fm directory in correct place. select the graphics file(jus select, dont go into file) and click save. load your game and happy daze.

after tyoing all this i bet the website wont let me post it. oh well, heres hoping.

  66. woohoo it posted! so, no offence crawley fans, but i removed your club from the game. just unlucky i guess!

    fm2008 > later versions, F*ck TV mode.

  67. Just want to thank you for this. This is freaking brilliant. Ive been searching for FM08 specific graphics for a wile now, i had downloaded this a while back, but my comp crashed, lost all my data, and then downloaded FM2012 grphics for the game, but they dint have background images for logos. This is wonderful. god bless you mate.

Also, i would appreciate it if anyone could direct me to more 08 “working files” graphics.
