Update: In the aftermath, Hong Kong police visited Edison’s home yesterday evening to gather evidence as he surrendered his computer equipment.

The man behind the nude photos scandal, Edison Chen accompanied by East Asia Music boss, Peter Lam flew back to Hong Kong via Philippines at 10am this morning. His immediate destination upon arrival was Kowloon police station.

He held a press conference at 3pm in Kowloon World Trade Centre and just like what Gillian did earlier, he only read a statement in english (chinese translation would be given to the media) and did not answer any questions.

    So, you actually don’t need an identification to copyright any photos. Photographer owns the right to all pictures he has taken. The identification is nothing more than a name, so he can simply name the picture “A good time” And thats about it. But realistically, he owns the right to the pictures and no one else have the right to post it or use them on his behalf, even if he didn’t name them. Here is the tricky part, you will need some proof to say that it is your work.

    Now, he can easily claim to be an artist, which is true, photography work is considered to be art work, so the subject, is just a subject, its not a human, not an act.. but just a simple object.

    HOWEVER, the, models in the picture, regardless of what the photographer consider them as (a subject, an object… a thing), do have the right to say whether they want their picture published or not.

    What are you disagreeing with here? I never said EDC can’t love or make private videos. All I said was EDC should be more careful of this private material. He’s too irresponsible. His apologies don’t even seem convincing. He runs away from HK to hide. It’s like impregnating a child and running away only to be caught later.
