There was a leaked Maggie Q picture posted early this morning on some forums. Some eagle-eyed netizens have linked some items in a laundry basket found in the picture to Edison Chen because apparently he has been photographed before wearing the exact same things. Some netizens though pointed out that this could be coincidental as the photo was from a photoshoot she did for Edison Chen’s clothing line. What do you think?
I don’t know about all of you, but frankly I’m pretty tired from covering this that goes on and on. Gillian Chung who was implicated in the Edison Chen sex photos scandal, became the first female starlet to step out yesterday and admit that it was her in the photos indirectly. But many remained unconvinced of her statement which seems to be deflecting all the blame to Edison and her smiling face throughout the event was a big turn-off for many. This was a big contrast to the big teary scene when she spoke publicly a few months ago after photos of her naked back while changing in a dressing room was leaked.
Where’s the logic, you wonder?
Some say that Albert Yeung might have already struck a deal with the mysterious “Kira” which might explain the relaxed nature of Gillian and most of the EEG people at yesterday’s event. The non-show of the video as promised by “Kira” yesterday was also a talking point among many netizens who was stalking the forums the whole day and came up disappointed.
Unsure if it’s a hoax or what, but “Kira” apparently posted on Hong Kong forum stating that the video was held up and would be posted at 3am instead. But several hours later, we still see no sign of any on any forums.
Most netizens are hopeful and think that “Kira” is just biding his time. There are so many hoax reports of him being killed or caught everyday so it’s pretty chaotic keeping tabs on his actual status. So I think he’s just waiting to strike.
Meanwhile, the main lead of this whole scandal, Edison Chen is apparently flying back to Hong Kong either on Thurday or Friday (throw the media off?). Hmm, maybe things have really been settled with “Kira”? The story goes on…

#2 Why are you so offended by that paragraph.. all it says how most people have felt, which is unconvinced. But in a way you’re right, what could she have done? If she cried, people would say it’s fake… if people have set up in their minds that what she’s done is unforgivable then it won’t matter what she said or how she acted… they will not be satisfied.
You’d think she might have had some tears though, if she were truly worried about her career. If because of this, her career were to be in jeopardy, don’t you think she be upset?? Anyone who tries to blackmail will most likely fail. This is a high profile case. Uploading pictures is much easier than pulling off a successful blackmailing operation. Also, nobody is going to be dumb enough to pay the “ransom” when there is no guarantee that the pictures won’t still be spread afterwards. We are in a digital age. We have more than photographs and negatives now.
Somehow I want this charade to end with Kira releasing everything he has.
I’ve never been to Hong Kong and I don’t know how things like over there, but if it is true that jacky/albert and triads are involved in screwing actor and actresses, and that it has been that way for a long time, then maybe it’s a good thing that this happen. This would definitely put an end to their exploit as it is a direct proof on how corrupt the entertainment business in Hong Kong and how powerful they’re such that they can influence the way police handles this matter.
I feel sorry for the celebrities that got affected by this scandal, but the way I see it, they’re collateral to an even bigger scandal. I read about what happened to Carina Lau recently, and if the rumor is true, I hope those responsible are now behind bars. Unfortunately, I don’t think that was the case, I heard no investigation took place and the scandal went away pretty quickly.
A scandal of this scale however, would open so many eyes and hopefully something good comes out of it. I just want justice to be served and it’s a happy ending for everybody.

Guys, I just have one thing to say…BE MATURE!! but I will now end up saying a few more things:
1) Having followed the developments of this “scandal” I must say that many of the responses I have read in retort to the actions by Gillian, Bobo and Cecilia are completely base and hypocritical. We have all had sex I presume (well I have and have a lovely daughter to prove it), there is absolutely nothing wrong with that. Just because a lady has her picture taken sucking off a guy or flashing her pussy does not automatically make her a slut.
2) THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH TAKING PHOTOS OF YOUR GF/WIFE/FBUDDY as long as there is mutual consent, as they clearly was from the poses in the photos…this was not a hidden camera scandal. Both were consenting adults, I am not sure however about the Vincy Yeung photos, and as adults it was in their power to f**k and have the photos taken, no probs.
3) People need to understand that the world is dirty, to mak e it big in the industry it is very dirty. I am a classical musician and we have out own bloody scandals in that world as well. Fact is that is the type of world that we have created, where people have to sell themselves to go up the ladder.
4) Let us not all claim to be holy. I have taken photos of my wife in undress and I believe she would be pissed off if by any chance my computer “repair man” found those photos and put them on the net. Anyone would be upset by their penis, vagina, breasts etc. being flaunted around the net, with disgusting netizens, otaku, geeks, whatever you call them, wanking over you.
5) Just because denizens of certain asian do not shave their pussies/cocks does not mean that they need to be insulted. Think about it guys…not everyone likes their pussy looking pre-pubescent.
6) This “Kira” character is really pissing me off. I mean, kudos to him for making money from this, that is the way of the world…but to hell with him for keeping everyone in suspense.
7) Some people have talked of these celebrities being “role-models”. WTF? No where in their lives does it say that they need to live squeky clean lives for other people. Sure they have a responsibility in regard to their more simple-minded fans, but it does not mean that they cannot fuck. Hell I will tell my daughter not to have sex, until after marriage (I did not do that, so am I now a hypocritical cretin). I mean in the whole scheme of things as a celebrity you are under the control of the industry, so they are told what to do. So Cecilia goes to a school and goes, “NO SEX and Drugs”, she then leaves goes back home and does exactly the opposite…WHY? Its her bloody life…

I myself, don’t know if i agree with any of you, though for me, the entertainment is to see these so call star crash and burn……
I remember reading previous post of how all these untalented people rise to fame in an attempt made by the HK entertainment industry to replace the soon to be retired Jacky Cheung/Andy Lau etc….. It just so happen that none of the people caught in this scandal appeal to me as someone with great talent, so in my perspective, it maybe a blessing in disguise for the HK entertainment business.
