In a media interview, Son Ho Young said, “My relationship with Kim Ji Woo is kinda ambiguous. We are in between friends and lovers. We became very close through the musical (Singles) and developed a liking for each other, but romance is a funny thing.” His words inviting more questions.

As for pictures of him dating with Kim Ji Woo in Japan, he explained, “The photos were taken four hours after working on the same day. It’s not just us, four other collegues who had worked with us on the musical were also there.”

He admits to the photos that sees them holding hands and said, “Because we were acting as a couple in the musical so we just said to ourselves without inhibitions, ‘Since we are on vacation overseas, and the mood is so good, let’s just pretend that we are lovers dating that’s suitable for this atmosphere’. And so we started walking on the streets behaving like a couple in love. But our photos were taken by the media and the scandal broke.”

At the end of the interview, he said frankly, “Truthfully, we do have a liking for each other. But to say that we are madly in love, etc is not appropriate. Who knows what will happen next between a guy and a girl?” His words at the end creating more questions marks instead of closure.

  1. “Because we were acting as a couple in the musical so we just said to ourselves without inhibitions, ‘Since we are on vacation overseas, and the mood is so good, let’s just pretend that we are lovers dating that’s suitable for this atmosphere’.

Which part of this sentence is believable? He needs a proper excuse instead of covering up before he gets his behind kicked by his mistress.

  2. so they’re fuck buddies…so what?
the korean media loves making such a big deal outta nothing.
and his lie, uhhh i mean ‘quote’ was soooooooooooooooo….ugh.

  3. is it just me or that the pictures of the girl does not match? i think you posted the wrong picture.

  4. why does he gotta beat around the bush? that’s gotta win the worst excuse award for hiding a relationship…or something along those lines.

yeah, i’m thinking friends w/ benefits or FuBu’s too.

  5. Okay, i guess they are in a romance moment right now.
But they’re admitting it in a way that is not very easy for korean culture to be completely okay with, like they’re friends with benefits or so.

But i guess, they have some kind off attraction between them plus with the musical and so. As they don’t want to put themselves in a committed position yet and are still getting to know each other… they are in the romance or fooling around stage.

    Plus, they look cute…

  6. If actors are acting like they’re in love with each other and in the process spending lots of time together, it’s human nature to develop a liking to the other person (unless you decide you hate each others guts). Especially if it’s between a guy and a girl, feelings are bound to surface.

Frankly, I think celebrities worrying about who they’re dating and whatnot all the time makes promising relationships go sour. People are free to express their feelings but not so much to the point that they’re controlling the lives of others. To the obsessed: SHUT UP.

What happened to honesty being a virtue? At least they’re being honest.
